Valerie has struggled with mental health issues all her life and finds it hard to cope with the day to day world. Over the years she has turned into a recluse due to her problems and lives a self-imposed life of near solitude with her boyfriend Daniel in a small cottage hidden away from the world. Breeze is looking for a retreat from her hectic life in the city and moves into a beautiful cottage deep in the countryside to concentrate on building a new career for herself as a writer. At first all is idyllic and peaceful, just what she'd dreamed of. But very soon things start happening to disrupt her newfound equilibrium. She is not alone in the house. Increasingly scared, Breeze calls on an old friend to help her rid the house of its unwanted inhabitant but, as she and her friend Scott become closer, the events in the house worsen and they are led to find and seek the help of Daniel, the previous owner of the house. Together, can they succeed in moving the spirit on or, because of the tragic history between the ghostly presence and Daniel, will they all find themselves haunted by her forever?
